Details

Owing to box division, the following options are available:

The widower stays in section A during the week A .
The darkening section (section C ) is closed.
Depending on needs, the slider between sections A and B can be opened to enable the widower to occupy also the remaining part of the box. It makes sense if the box is equipped with a feeder located on the front door of the section B .

If pigeons are fed with nuts or seeds during the week, they can easily become trustful and acquainted with man’s hand. After feeding, the slider can be closed and the pigeon may be taken out through the opening in the front door of section B.

The hen is placed in darkening section C before the racing. The cook may reach section B through the front opening of the partition door. After a short time, the rear slider of the partition door opens and the cook may join the hen. Then the cooks may be put in for the race.

When the pigeon comes back after the flight, the rear slider is set to enable the cook and the hen to have eye contact. After a short time, the slider opens and the cook may join the hen.

If the cook is put in without a hen, it is possible to open the reach slider of the partition door. Then the widower may go into the darkening section he has not seen for a week. For additional motivation before a competition flight, it is possible to open all sliders of the partition door and the front door of the darkening section, so that the cook may reach all sections of the box.

The box is available with or without a feeder cup.
